June Bowers lived in Rociada, NM, for many years and photographed a wide array of New Mexico subjects, including buildings, landforms, plants, streams, vehicles, and equipment. Viewed together, these images portray our part of the world with great accuracy and sensitivity.
Ms. Bowers generously donated more than forty of her framed photographs to the Las Vegas Arts Council, and we are pleased to exhibit them and offer them for sale to benefit the programs of the Council, including the many art shows we usually mount each year.
The entire collection will soon be shown in rotation on the large-screen monitor as part of the exhibit.
We hope you enjoy the show and that you will support the Arts Council by adding one of these fine photographs to your collection.
