***Artist Agreement***
Please carefully read the Artist Agreement and X to agree to its provisions.
Exhibiting with Las Vegas Arts Council (LVAC) is a benefit of paid membership. Artist memberships begin at $10/year, expiring 12/31/23. You may pay at the gallery or at lasvegasartscouncil.org/join.
______Work will be hung by the exhibit curators and must arrive ready to hang.
______You will be asked to volunteer to host the gallery at least a few times during the show, to meet and greet possible customers, welcome visitors, etc.
______All sales generated by exhibit must be receipted at the gallery. This would include work first seen at Gallery 140.
______LVAC will publicize your show on the LVAC website, via email, on Facebook, Instagram, Las Vegas Optic, and the Santa Fe New Mexican Online Calendar. We ask YOU to share information with your contact lists via email and social media.
______Charging and paying NM gross receipts tax is the responsibility of the artist and should be included in the price.
______Local buyers will often leave purchased work until the end of the show, but out-of-town buyers may take it. The artist will have the option of replacing the work.
_____LVAC does carry insurance on art at this time, with a $250 deductible which will be the responsibility of the artist.
_____Visitors will have permission to photograph your work.
_____A check for artist sales will be available for pick up or mailed within 30 DAYS of the closing of the show. The check will be for the amount of the sale less a 20% gallery fee.
_____LVAC retains the rights to use credited images of your selected work in advertising, promotions, and archives.
