A concert series with an ultimate destination…the Hotel Castañeda
In September 2016, Artistic Director Ronald Maltais and the Pleiades String Quartet launched the first Castañeda Concert at the work-in-progress Hotel Castañeda, celebrating with a champagne reception served by the reinvented Harvey Girls.

While the construction crew ties up a few loose ends at the Castañeda, the second in the series was a Flamenco event at the Historic Plaza Hotel on February 18, and the third at the also very historic Ilfeld Auditorium on May 7.
Tickets were sold for these events, but donations were accepted in order to keep quality high and ticket prices modest. You can help us prepare for next year! Gifts of $100 or more will entitle you to be placed on the 2017-2018 Friends of the Castañeda Concert Series list, with a special music event planned for such contributors.
