Computer Issues have kept us from using our usual online entry forms. To keep it short and simple, just copy and paste the information below into an email. Complete the missing info, relabel the images, attach and send.

If you have any problem with the form or are uncomfortable with technology, we have paper forms available. Important Dates

Entry/Deadline for submissions: Midnight, July 30, 2022 but sooner is always better!
We will send an auto-response that your submission is received and will let you know what has been accepted by Midnight, July 31, 2022.
If your work is invited, it must be delivered to gallery on Monday, 8/1 from 1pm – 8pm..
Show opens Thursday, 8/4/22 at 1:00 PM.
Hours are: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 1-5 pm or by appointment.
Show closes on Sunday, 9/4
Pick up on Tuesday, 9/6/22, from 1-8 pm or by appointment.

Artist Agreement

Exhibiting with Las Vegas Arts Council (LVAC) is a benefit of paid membership. Artist memberships begin at $10/year, expiring 12/31/22. You may pay at the gallery or at

With respect to COVID-19 concerns, LVAC will hang the show at Gallery 140, present it online and in the gallery. Because of COVID, this is always subject to change.

Work will be hung by the exhibit curators and must arrive ready to hang.

You will be asked to volunteer to host the gallery at least a few times during the show, to meet and greet possible customers, welcome visitors, etc.

All sales generated by exhibit must be receipted at the gallery. This would include work first seen at Gallery 140.

LVAC will publicize your show on the LVAC website, via email, on Facebook, Instagram, Las Vegas Optic, and the Santa Fe New Mexican Online Calendar. We ask YOU to share information with your contact lists via email and social media.

Charging and paying NM gross receipts tax is the responsibility of the artist and should be included in the price.

Local buyers will often leave purchased work until the end of the show, but out-of-town buyers may take it. The artist will have the option of replacing the work.

LVAC does carry insurance on art at this time, with a $250 deductible which will be the responsibility of the artist.

Visitors will have permission to photograph your work.

A check for artist sales will be available for pick up or mailed within one month of the closing of the show. The check will be for the amount of the sale less a 20% gallery fee.

LVAC retains the rights to use credited images of your selected work in advertising, promotions, and archives.

Please carefully read the Artist Agreement and plan to agree to its provisions.

Sending the digital images: Electronic submission is required (Slides and images on CD’s will not be reviewed) Take your BEST shot! We may use these images of accepted work in an online gallery. Please make sure they are gallery quality.

PHOTOGRAPH YOUR ENTRIES WITH A DIGITAL CAMERA (cell phones are allowed) and send us a digital copy. Only digital entries of artwork will be accepted for consideration. The curator(s) will judge images by viewing digital entries only. You are encouraged to use a good digital camera (3.0 Mega Pixels or higher suggested).
We have support for artists unfamiliar with pixels and dpi. ASK!

File format: .JPG files, File Resolution: High; 300 dpi, 1200 pixels on longest side preferred but not mandatory; Files will be used for online promotion & in-house slideshow so need to be of good quality.
File Naming Instructions for each photo: (You must rename your images, or we will return your entry.) include the artist’s last name, first name, and title. Example: JohnsonPatricia_Red Scarf.jpg
In addition to naming the file as above, we will create labels for the show with the following information.

Then, please provide a brief description of or inspiration for each piece to be used for online promotion.

* Price should include gross receipts tax (to be paid by the artist) and rounded to the nearest dollar.

** Paintings are measured by height first, followed by width. Sculptures and three-dimensional installations are measured by height, width, and depth. Include “Framed” if that is how you are selling the piece.
